Time Matters...

...a lot actually and should be well spent but how am I going to do that? I know I can get through the mommy duties I have piled up for the day with a breeze only to be distracted by the internet. Let me enumerate the number of ways I use it.

Read- be it an article, news that includes gossip sites, blog hopping-mainly fashion sites
Look- spiritual guidance, for new arrivals, recipes to try, photographic inspirations and wander at design sites
Connect- emails, chat and FACEBOOK which might be the culprit to a non productive day. If I may add playing virtual farming, watching tv series online and YouTube.

Spending too much time online takes away the essence of having a quality time. I once told Mi Amour that I get the sense of having a "Me" time by being online once my daughter fell asleep. But that is so wrong. I can get to have quality time for myself by engaging into something that inspires me a lot or creating something productive. I know there's a lot and at this very moment it just keeps popping into my head that needs to be listed down.

For now, i'll limit the use by logging once in the morning to check on emails and family updates and once before bedtime. The time alloted?? OK, this may be hard as I'm imposing a real lifestyle/habit change that would define my day.

I'll chronicle my Internet Diet Challenge and we'll see how far it will go and hopefully I can be inspired in making the things that I've procrastinate in doing for the longest time.
